Student logins on Chromebooks may ask for an old password

There have been limited reports of students not being able to log in directly to Meridian-owned Chromebooks using their meridianstudents.org email address and password. The issue manifests as a denied login with an option to put in an old password. Clicking the Forgot Password button/link, followed by the Proceed button allows for login with the message that local data will be deleted. No data will be lost using this method of login. I'm investigating the cause of this issue with Google and will update this notice when a resolution is in place.
